The Duck Day will take place on Sunday, April 23th between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the activity area next to the Ångström Laboratory. Everyone is welcome to participate at this day!
The Duck Day is the Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students family event designed to create a play-fillled, fun and pleasant day for children and families, young and old. This is done with fun activities such as a treasure hunt, horseback riding, fishing booth, face painting, and much more. You will also have the opportunity to visit the construction site where the students build their rafts for the river rafting that takes place on April 30th. Food and beverages will be sold to ensure that nobody goes hungry and you have energy to have extra fun!
The goal of the Duck Day is to bring joy to all those who visit the event, but also to the children who are unable to attend due to illness. Therefore, we collaborate with the Academic Hospital's children's fund to contribute to give these children a more enjoyable life. For the charity, some of the entertainment during the Duck Day will cost a little, but not so much that not all will be able to afford it. There will also be free activities that everyone can take part in!
